I am in the process of cleaning up the threads, posts and pictures. I want to keep the archive active through our 4 years of activity here but wish to keep the navigation and content relevant.
So far I have deleted posts that originated from members who have unsubbed, events that have expired, events that are not germane to BaGG and threads that have not generated any responses.
The dialog, your thoughts and opinions over the years will remain intact. Tribe is under new management/ownership, has been very stable lately and we will rededicate ourselves to this forum.
Hoping that everybody had a safe NYE and we look forward to seeing you in the coming year.
BAGG WILL BE CLOSED ON JANUARY 7 - GRAND REOPENING ON JANUARY 14tth

Re: Cleaning up threads
Fri, January 2, 2009 - 5:12 PMGlad to see they finally got the co-moderatorship running in tribe. that was always a big problem.
Things are going to get better. Hell, we had the majority of tribe staff hanging out with us on NYE, which is worth noting considering some of the problems from the past between admins and bagg. That's all history now.
There's also a new TOU for Tribe that everyone should take a moment to catch up on. Lots of changes, all for the better.

Note that some past events may well be relevant to some members of the community, as someone finds an old'un & says, "oooo! they had an event like THAT??!?" and contacts BaGG and/or the presenter to find out if/when they can get to a similar event.
I've used "past events" that way myself, both BaGG's and others'.

Re: Cleaning up threads
Wed, January 7, 2009 - 8:16 PMOld news = old news. Now, if the event thread generated any conversation - it stayed. There are events and promoters that dont exist at all anymore. I crave order, I dont want to the crazy lady living with 40 cats with newspapers stacked to the ceiling. Not yet at least.
